Birmingham, AL – Vision Security Technologies is proud to announce that Codi Schoggen has completed the prestigious CSPM certification. Schoggen is the second of VST’s project management team to obtain the elite certification of Certified Security Project Manager. He and Vision’s Josh Holsomback are 2/206 CSPM credentialed project managers worldwide.
“I learned a lot about the business side of managing security projects while studying for the certification in addition to all of the technical training. It was very challenging but very rewarding at the same time”, says Schoggen about studying for the exam.
“Having two experienced project managers carry the title of Certified Security Project Manager gives our customers confidence in a quality project from the planning table to completion,” commented Del Deason, Sr. Vice President at Vision.
Certified Security Project Manager is the only credential that addresses the unique demands of a project manager in the security industry. More than a general project management certification, the CSPM demonstrates that holders of this credential can manage complex, technical security projects. It is the mark of top talent in the security industry, a designation proudly carried by security project managers, security integrators, system engineers and designers, security consultants and specifiers.
“I would say one of the biggest benefits to having the CSPM is in dealing with other trades, general contractors, and/or customers. When they find out what CSPM stands for, they know that we are well versed in the security industry and that they will get professional work,” noted Holsomback.
