Birmingham, AL – Vision Security Technologies held their annual Customer Appreciation Event on August 23rd by hosting an Old Fashioned Football Tailgate at their corporate headquarters. Guests enjoyed food, beverages, games and giveaways under collegiate themed tents.
Dunked for Charity
The event was held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with food catered by Baha Burger.
Vision added a different element to the event this year by renting a dunking booth and letting guests purchase tickets to “Sink the CEO”, Barry Komisar.
“We didn’t think we could top last year’s event but adding the dunking booth and selling tickets to “Sink the CEO” was a hit”, says Dana Rhodes, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Vision. “Vision matched the amount of money collected and donated it to The Lakeshore Foundation”, added Rhodes.
Representatives from The Lakeshore Foundation, Karin Korb, Policy & Public Affairs Coordinator and Mandy Goff, High Performance Manager, USA Wheelchair Rugby Team were present to accept the donation.
“I’m so honored to have Karin and Mandy take the time to come out and participate in our event”, says Barry Komisar, Founder & CEO of Vision Security Technologies. “I never thought being dunked in a booth could be so rewarding”, added Komisar.
Vision’s vendor partners helped make the event possible through sponsorships. Windy City Wire was the title sponsor for the second year. Assa Abloy, Lenel, TRAKA, Avigilon, HID, Stentofon, & Genetec were also among contributing sponsors.
